So looks like the ‘50 shades of beige’ post got you all talking. It’s a shame that in this day and age this is still an issue, I know it’s JUST make up but some of us do not wish to pay £20+ for foundation or bb or cc or whatever make up ‘essential’ we are being iced out of! Especially when our fairer counter parts can go to super drug and pick up a VAST selection of shades from every brand……I’m kind of tired of talking about this part of me just thinks if you don’t want my brown money I’ll take it elsewhere perhaps to some brown owned companies. We need to be the change! and stop waiting for brands (that claim they are for every woman that’s you l’oreal!)
These brands refuse to advertise that they do have darker shades (a lot of them do but do not highlight it then discontinue the shade due to lack of demand!?!? How am I suppose to buy it if I don’t know it exists?) or the even worse culprits that use brown models and theY don’t even sell the shade the model is allegedly wearing! And if another person tells me I could just use mac or nars or bobbi brown….I’m so sick or this NW45 crew! I know I can use mac or high end brands but I want choice like everyone else!
Natural brands need to step up too! After researching brands with Eco ingredients there are very few that have darker shades past caramel! Erm I care about the damn environment cater to me!
